Writing efficient user interfaces is the main maxim, here at Vimperator labs. We often follow the Vim way of doing things, but extend its principles when necessary.
Towards this end, we've created the liberator library for Mozilla based applications, to encapsulate as many of these generic principles as possible, and liberate developers from the tedium of reinventing the wheel.
Until now, because of time constraints, we have focused solely on three Mozilla-based applications. If you would like other host applications, such as Instantbird or Sunbird to make use of our liberator library, feel free to contact us.

vimperator.org has changed to SourceForge.net
Our backend for the homepage has changed to XML files which get processed by a XSLT processor that creates XHTML files. Kris Maglione has written most of the code for it, thanks a lot for his great work!
We are still not totally sure about the color scheme, but changing that is probably the easiest part once we know which colors are the best :)
If you find some website bugs, please forward them to maxauthority@vimperator.org

The main features and layout is already ready. We just have to decide on a color scheme (the hardest part) and fix a few small remaining things.
Thanks Kris for all the great backend work!
